Want to find out more about setting up a career alert with Manulife? You’ll find all the answers to your questions below.

A) What is a Career Alert?

An automated email summary of new job opportunities that match your preferences (location, job function, level, etc.) after you complete your profile.

B) How do I select my career preferences?

When you’re applying for a position or creating/updating your career profile, you can make your preferences on the Alerts & Career Preferences page in your profile.

C) Can I change my career preferences after making my initial selections?

Yes, you can change your preferences by updating your profile. To receive more notifications, try broadening your preferences by selecting the top-level selections for location and job function (e.g., Canada and Finance). To receive fewer notifications, narrow your choices and be sure to include job function(s) and location.

D) Do my career alerts ever expire?

Your career alerts will automatically expire after 36 months of inactivity. Update your profile to keep receiving them - and to ensure you’re receiving the best possible matches.

E) How do I unsubscribe?

Deselect the check box labelled “Please email me career opportunities that correspond to my profile” on the Alerts & Career Preferences page in your profile.
