Guy Mills, Chief Executive Officer, Manulife Hong Kong, commented: “At Manulife, we care about the well-being and development of the community in which we work and live, and have therefore enthusiastically taken part in this walk for more than two decades now. It is one of the most popular and highly anticipated annual charity events for our employees and agents. We are naturally delighted to be have won these awards and very proud of all our personnel that helped achieve it.”

Raymond Ng, Chairman of Manulife’s Walk for Millions Organizing Committee, said: “Our heartfelt thanks go out to all agents and employees who participated in the walk. Beyond the sheer numbers lie the care, passion and love that Manulifers have shown in lending a helping hand to those less fortunate in our community.”

More than 2,500 Manulifers took part in this year’s walk. Over the years, Manulifers have raised more than HK$16 million through the event, with the number of its participants jumping more than threefold. The funds going to the various social-welfare agencies will be used to strengthen family bonding and encourage mutual-support relationships among family members, helping them to cope with individual or family problems, as well as providing services for their needs.
