Manulife Financial employs top actuarial talent in each of its business units around the world. In Canada, actuarial positions are based in both our Toronto or Kitchener-Waterloo offices.

We are always looking for individuals with strong business and analytical skills and who have shown a commitment to completing the exams administered by the Society of Actuaries and co-sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Actuarial Graduates
Each year, we hire talented actuarial students graduating from university programs. Information sessions are held in early fall at Canadian universities with an established Actuarial Science program. Graduate recruitment usually commences in early October and continues through to February of each year.

Co-op and Summer Actuarial Students
Our actuarial co-op and summer students have made valuable contributions to our intellectual capital and to the development of Manulife Financial's products and services.

First to fourth-year university students, with an actuarial focus, are hired for work terms ranging from four to 16 months, depending on the structure of each student's academic calendar.
