Manulife Mutual Funds to terminate Advisor Series of a fund

Toronto – Manulife Mutual Funds (a division of Elliott & Page Limited) announced today their decision to terminate the Advisor Series of the Elliott & Page Diversified Fund (“the Fund”). The Advisor Series of the Fund is closed immediately and will be terminated, effective December 30, 2005. The institutional class shares of the Fund will continue to be offered.

The decision to offer the Fund only to Institutional clients allows Manulife Mutual Funds to continue offering Institutional clients a full spectrum of investment mandates while eliminating overlap within the Retail product line.
