Manulife Canadian Private Placements

Manulife's Canadian Private Placements investment operation provides various types of debt instruments to Canadian issuers, including:

ü Senior Secured Debt;
ü Senior Unsecured Debt;
ü Credit Tenant Lease financing;
ü Mortgage Bonds;
ü Discount Lease financing;
ü Private securitization financing;
ü Energy Retrofit Receivable financing;
ü Infrastructure financing;
ü Mid-market secured term lending.

Investment Criteria:

üEstablished companies;
üProven management;
üTypical target investment range of $5 million up to $200 million with average loan size around $25 million;
üInvestment term ranges from one year through to thirty years;
üBoth rated and unrated transactions are underwritten;
üLoan repayment can be: partial amortization, fully amortizing over the term of the loan, or bullet repayment at maturity, depending on the nature of the transaction.
