J. Roy Firth

Chairman & CEO, Elliott & Page Limited
  Roy Firth is Executive Vice President, Individual Wealth Management, Canadian Division, and Chairman of Manulife Securities and Elliott & Page Limited. His responsibilities include mutual funds and segregated funds, fixed rate annuity products, Manulife Bank, as well as joint responsibility for Distribution of Manulife’s Individual products.
Since 2000, Mr. Firth has led this Business Unit which has seen an era of exceptional growth which has been highlighted by innovative new product development, significant expansion of distribution capabilities, and a more than four-fold increase in earnings.
He joined Manulife in 1998 as President of Elliott & Page Limited and prior to joining Elliott & Page, he spent 10 years at Laurentian Bank of Canada, latterly in the position of Executive Vice-President, Treasury, Risk Management and Strategic Development.
Mr. Firth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Concordia University and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University, New York. |
