Manulife Financial earns top service honors from main office operations managers
--Annual Dalbar survey ranks firm #1 for Operational Relationship--
Boston – Manulife Financial has been ranked number one for Operational Relationship among annuity providers by operations managers from 30 leading broker/dealer firms, according to a recent survey conducted by Dalbar, Inc., an independent research organization. Dalbar describes ‘Operational Relationship’ as the ongoing relationship that annuity providers maintain with the main office operations managers at broker/dealer firms. Manulife also earned top quintile rankings in several other main office categories including: keeping the broker/dealer informed, problem resolution and response to inquiries.
“We are very pleased with the results from the 2001 Dalbar study with respect to our broker/dealer customer service operations,” said Jim Boyle, Senior Vice President, U.S. Annuities for Manulife Financial.” These results are consistent with past Dalbar Service Key Honor Awards. “We strive to achieve excellence in all areas: thoughtful product design; well-informed, responsive wholesalers; and strong back-office support—as these are crucial to financial professionals’ ability to service their clients.”
The annual Dalbar survey provides ratings for 48 different variable annuity companies. Manulife Financial was ranked within a subcategory for large companies, which included 10 firms. “Financial professionals who work with Manulife can be confident that when they require support beyond that which is provided by our highly regarded sales and marketing staff, they will receive the best customer service in the industry,” added Mr. Boyle.
