Notice of Teleconference:
Manulife USA hosts call with Larry Brody

Boston - On May 14, 2003, Manulife USA will present noted author and lecturer, Larry Brody, in a teleconference on the topic of split-dollar arrangements. Hosted by Randy Zipse, Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel, Advanced Markets, Manulife USA, the call will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. (ET).

By offering listeners valuable strategies and insights into this executive compensation option, this teleconference will address key issues in split-dollar arrangements, such as what to expect in the future, how to prepare for December 31, 2003, and the state of the split-dollar. The teleconference is indicative of the on-going efforts of Manulife USA to provide advisors with information they can use to help clients grow their businesses by offering creative and effective planning tools.

A practicing attorney, Mr. Brody is also an adjunct professor of estate planning at Washington University School of Law. He is a frequent lecturer and author of numerous books on estate and employee benefit planning and widely regarded as an expert on split-dollar arrangements. In addition, Mr. Brody is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the American College of Tax, and the Phillip E. Heckerling Institute of Estate Planning at the Miami School of Law.
