Manulife USA names Bruce R. Speca Executive Vice President, Investment Management Services
Boston – Manulife USA is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce R. Speca as its Executive Vice President, Investment Management Services. Manulife USA offers investments in a broad range of asset classes and styles managed by top firms in their respective categories.
In this new role, Mr. Speca will lead investment analysis oversight and strategic marketing and develop investment strategies for all of Manulife USA’s business units. Mr. Speca will oversee the selection, management and monitoring of all investment platform portfolios, as well as monitoring the on-going research and development of investment market trends. Additionally, Mr. Speca will act as the resident expert in investment management and work with management, wholesalers and brokers to educate Manulife USA’s distributors about investment platforms and strategies.
Prior to joining Manulife, Mr. Speca was responsible for product development, marketing promotion and public relations in his role as Senior Managing Director for Pioneer Investment Management. Previously, he held positions as President of a mutual fund start-up and President and CEO of the New England Funds (now Nvest Funds) where he worked for over 15 years. Mr. Speca received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS in Marketing from Boston College.
