In 2012, Manulife invested more than $9.5 million to help non-profit organizations across Canada. But funding alone can’t fulfill our promise to create a better future for Canadians.  That’s why Manulife has made a major commitment to supporting volunteerism in Canada, and unleashing the power of Canada’s priceless volunteers towards building a better future for us all. The generosity of our employees
Just as people are our strongest asset in business, they are also the cornerstone of our community efforts. Whether it’s swinging a hammer for Habitat for Humanity, running, walking or cycling to raise money for a good cause, or donating generously through Manulife’s United Way campaign, they are helping create strong, vibrant communities. 

In 2012, employees in Canada donated more than 30,000 volunteer hours, through Manulife-sponsored programs and events and on their own time.
