Within the Marketing teams at Manulife, there are significant roles that drive the creative ideas, corporate messages and product creation to delivery. These roles work within Product Management and Communications and typically support products and services offered in a specific country or region. Each unit leverages their own creative abilities by understanding the needs of their customers and advisors while incorporating Manulife’s brand strategy and global outlook. They contribute to the Company's current and future success by developing solid marketing initiatives, captivating communication strategies and innovative product management design and creation. The Leaders within Marketing are continuously seeking talented, creative and motivated professionals to join their team in one of the functional disciplines of product, marketing, and/or communications.
Two examples of roles within the Marketing disciplines product management and communications are the Product Manager role and the Communications Officer role.
The Product Manager recommends sound marketing strategies, product development and delivery, and overall product management to optimize both long term sales volume and to attain stated profit objectives. The PM role is the ideal opportunity for a creative, energetic, enthusiastic individual who is looking to develop and grow within the financial services industry. In order to success in this role you need a strong desire to learn and bring innovative and unique ideas from concept to implementation.
Another important role is the role of the Communications Officer. They are key members of marketing teams and are integral to developing compelling product communication plans and materials to help drive revenue and market share. The Communications Officer will work to articulate the value proposition, product positioning and messaging, and deliver innovative tactics to support product branding, packaging, and execution of product launches and promotions.Back to top
