Boston– John Hancock Annuities today announced the addition of two new fund-of-funds options to its Venture Variable Annuities investment platform: American Fundamental Holdings and American Global Diversification. Both funds are part of the John Hancock Trust and primarily invest in underlying American Funds portfolios.

American Fundamental Holdings provides broad exposure to US equity and fixed income markets, as well as some exposure to international equities. This balanced fund is offered through a fund-of-funds structure of underlying American Funds portfolios in the American Funds Insurance Series. American Fundamental Holdings currently invests in the following American Funds portfolios: American Growth-Income, American International, American Bond, and American Growth.
American Global Diversification provides broad exposure to the global markets, including small caps and emerging markets equities, taking advantage of varying investment styles, market segments, and geographic regions. The fund provides investors with a balanced asset allocation and a strategic weighting toward international investments through a fund of funds structure of five underlying American Funds portfolios in the American Funds Insurance Series. American Global Diversification currently invests in the following American Funds portfolios: American Global Growth, American Global Small Cap, American New World, American Bond, and American High-Income Bond.
