Beijing– Manulife-Sinochem Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (MSL), a subsidiary of Canada-based Manulife Financial today announces that its foreign parent company – Manulife (International) Limited, Hong Kong has been ranked #4 in the 'Top Companies for Leaders' in the Greater China region survey, carried out by FORTUNE magazine and Hewitt Associates. It was also the only insurance company to have been so recognized in this category of the prestigious list which is published in the magazine’s October 1, 2007 issue.

Some 564 entities from 41 countries took part in the “Top Companies for Leaders” study, which ranked these companies’ leadership performance both regionally and globally. Manulife came fourth in the Greater China region, following an exhaustive screening that included many variables, such as the survey and interview data, company reputation, leadership culture and values, and a proven track record. The study surveyed human resources executives and CEOs around the world.
