Manulife Makes Premium Payments Even Easier with BCA Autodebit Facility

Introducing new, memorable account numbers in the interest of customers’ convenience

Jakarta– PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia (Manulife Indonesia) and Bank Central Asia (BCA) – a leading bank in Indonesia with the widest network in the country – today signed an agreement to provide automatic premium payments through an auto debit facility for Manulife Indonesia customers.

“Sometimes, you do not remember or you are too busy to go to the bank to pay for your bills. By using this facility, Manulife Indonesia customers with accounts at BCA no longer have to remind themselves when their premiums are due. The bank will take care of the payments, so there is no possibility of their policy lapsing because a payment is overdue – making this a very convenient service for our customers. We expect this to be very popular and to lead to a significant increase in transactions through BCA,” said David Beynon, Manulife Indonesia’s President Director.

This collaboration further strengthens the established relationship between the two companies. In addition to this latest facility, Manulife Indonesia customers can pay their premiums at BCA counters by cheque, clearing account, transfer between BCA accounts, or cash deposit or through the bank’s automated teller machine (ATM) or www.klikbca.com.

For those who still prefer going to BCA or its ATM themselves, Manulife Indonesia has introduced new bank account numbers for its non-unit-linked policies (305 305 305 6) and unit-linked policies (305 301 301 1)1. “We deliberately chose memorable numbers for our bank accounts at BCA, so it is easy for our customers to remember them,” explained Adi Purnomo, Manulife Indonesia’s Vice President Director. Plus, customers who make their payments to Manulife through BCA do not have to spend money on transaction fees, as Manulife will bear these fees.

Aswin Wirjadi, BCA’s Vice President Director, said, “This collaboration to offer automatic premium payments to Manulife customers is part of our efforts to strengthen our position as a leading bank for payment transactions in Indonesia.”

Besides BCA, Manulife customers can also pay their premiums through the company’s accounts at Citibank.
