Manulife Offers “Dream” Visit to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

Privileged Customers will have chances to win an unforgettable trip for two to the Games

Hong Kong— True to its Olympic Games slogan of “Bringing Dreams To Life”, Manulife (International) Limited (MIL) is offering its Privileged Customers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win a trip to the Chinese capital next August to attend the historic Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, of which it is the official Worldwide Life-Insurance Partner. Return airfare, hotel accommodation and tickets to various events will all be covered in the trip to the Games.

There will be three lucky draws, which are designed not only to underline Manulife’s commitment to the spirit of the Games, and to raise local awareness of their significance, as well as enhance the level of interest and participation in local sport, but also to celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary in Hong Kong. Which is why the draw has been designated “In Partnership With You For 110 Years.”

“This lucky draw is to reward the loyalty of our Privileged Customers,” said Michael Huddart, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Hong Kong, MIL, “since it celebrates our 110 years of doing business in Hong Kong and the tremendous rapport we have built up with the local community.”

“The first-ever Olympic Games to be held in China is a landmark for the whole region and a source of particular pride for everybody in Hong Kong. We thought that it would be a great opportunity to offer a ‘dream visit’ to some of our customers, and let them have a chance to experience it at first-hand,” added Mr. Huddart.

The lucky draws will be held in November this year, and February and May next year, and lucky winners of each of the three draws will be presented with a grand prize of a twin travel package to the Olympic Games in August 2008. Another 108 winners of each draw will receive a commemorative set of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Fuwa Chopsticks.

The promotion is open to all Manulife Privileged Customers, i.e. those who hold a valid Manulife Privileged Customer Card. Each of these eligible customers will be entitled to one entry for the three lucky-draw seasons.

In addition, any of these customers who buy a specified minimum of life insurance protection products within the promotion period from now until March 31, 2008 will be granted an additional entry to the lucky draw. The more they purchase, the higher their chances of winning a trip to the Beijing Olympic Games.

Lucky draw results will be announced on the Manulife’s Hong Kong Web site after each drawing date, and winners will also be notified by mail individually.
