Manulife Japan Announces Appointment of New Director

Tokyo - Manulife Life Insurance Company (Head Office: Chofu-shi, Tokyo, President & CEO: Geoff Crickmay) announces the appointment of Robert A. Cook as a Director and Vice Chairman.

Mr. Cook joined Manulife Financial in 1978, and in his 28 years with the Company he has held management positions in Manulife’s U.S., Canadian, International and Corporate divisions, in areas including strategic planning, product management for insurance and annuities, sales and marketing. He was Executive Vice President, U.S. Protection and he is now Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager, Asia.
