MSL 2010 Baby Campaign ends; Champion won a free trip worth RMB 10,000

Shanghai Under the title “Special Care for Baby and its Future Dream Education”, the Manulife-Sinochem 2010 Baby Campaign ended with over 10,000 entries, while more than 1.38 million internet users helped judge the results.

The campaign, which lasted two months, featured a contest in which children 0-12 years of age could draw or build their dream school using materials they find at home. Three children from Jiaxing, Deyang and Fuzhou received the “Future Dream Education Doctor Award”, while 3-year-old Zhang Jingyi from Beijing won the championship award with her eggshell-made portrait of her dream education. Zhang’s prize is a travel package worth RMB 10,000.

With its unique contest and concept of fostering parent-child interaction, the MSL 2010 Baby Campaign was welcomed by parents nationwide. More than 10,000 parents and babies from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shandong, Liaoning and Fujian participated, and over 1.38 million e-users voted on the outcome. The campaign showed the Chinese babies’ enormous creative caliber.

Apart from being a professional insurance company providing strong, reliable, trustworthy and forward-thinking insurance products and services to the clients, MSL is firmly committed to social responsibility and organizes a variety of events fostering public good. MSL has held a similar Baby Campaign for 10 years to inspire the imagination, creativity and intellectual capabilities of young children. The activities also help make parents aware of educational expenses and encourage them to take early measures to provide for such financial needs.
