In principle, the interest crediting rate will be updated twice a month (the 1st and 16th of each month) based on the benchmark interest rate set by Manulife Japan. The interest crediting rate set on the policy issue date will be applicable to the policy throughout its deferral period and annuity payout period (the interest crediting rate set on the policy issue date will remain unchanged throughout the life of the policy).
