Our 2025 Year in Review is here
2025 was a year of growth and innovation for Manulife Group Retirement, and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without your feedback, insight, and partnership.
From simplifying plan management to enhancing digital experiences, each initiative focused on making it easier for you to offer plans that can lead to better outcomes and help your members save and invest for longer, healthier, and more secure lives.
Let’s look back at what we achieved together and what’s to come for 2026.

Longevity is reshaping retirement planning
People are living longer than ever, and it’s impacting how each generation approaches retirement planning. Our latest Financial resilience and longevity report highlights key findings from our annual survey, including generational concerns, lessons from retirees, and practical strategies to support long-term financial security.
These findings can help you guide and educate your employees in preparing for a retirement that could last 40 years or more.
Our Globe and Mail series: Insight into building resilient retirement plans
Marc-Antoine Morin, our Head of Member Engagement, recently shared his perspective in The Globe and Mail on the implications of our report’s findings on retirement planning.
Stay tuned for an ongoing discussion with The Globe and Mail regarding our report.
Aging well takes more than savings
To better understand the lived experiences of Canadians aged 50+, the National Institute on Ageing released its annual “Ageing in Canada Survey,” with support from Manulife. The findings explore how financial, health, and social risks are interconnected, highlighting the importance of taking a holistic approach to retirement planning.
