In her role as Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel, Christine supports Manulife’s Retirement, Group Benefits, International Group Program, and Affinity Markets insurance businesses in Canada.  Prior to joining Manulife in 2015, Christine was Head of Compliance at another financial institution and acted as Senior Legal Counsel for their insurance, mutual funds, and investment fund businesses. She also sat on the company’s Pension Committee, Independent Review Committee, and acted as Assistant Corporate Secretary for the life insurance entity. She began her career in private practice as a corporate and securities lawyer. 

Christine was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004. She holds a law degree from the University of Windsor, and an Honours BA from the University of Toronto. Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, hiking and other outdoor activities.
