Tell me about Advisor Manulife ID
Advisor Manulife ID is a secure online ID (username and password) for advisors, marketing assistants and back-office staff. It adds an extra layer of security to protect your client information and will eventually become your single login for all your business interactions with Manulife – simplifying your sign-in experience. Whether your business focuses on certain products or multiple lines of business, we’ve streamlined the sign-in experience to cater to all advisor practices.
Yes. To access Manulife Wealth tools and resources, you’ll need to set up your Advisor Manulife ID to sign in to the Wealth advisor site.
If you are unsure, here are a few tips:
- Make sure you’re signed out of your Manulife account, then click ‘Forgot your username?’ on the login screen. If you have an Advisor Manulife ID, you’ll receive an email within 5 minutes.
- If you try to create a second Advisor Manulife ID using the same email address, you’ll see a warning message saying: “Hang on – it looks like you might already have an Advisor Manulife ID…”.
Sign in using your existing Advisor Manulife ID and connect your Wealth advisor site account, if you haven’t done so already.
Yes, you do!
If you support one or more advisors and require access to their client information, you should register as a Marketing Assistant. Manulife will then contact the advisor(s) you support for approval.
Once you’re approved to support at least one advisor, additional advisors can grant you access to their business using our self-serve feature by adding your name and email ID as an approved Marketing Assistant.
Help with setting up your Advisor Manulife ID
Go to https://www.manulifewealth.ca/advisors and click “Sign in”. Follow the steps to create your Advisor Manulife ID. This process can be completed within 24 hours but may take longer if approvals are required for Marketing Assistants.
Yes. A Manulife ID is for clients to access their personal Manulife products within Manulife Investments, Manulife Wealth, Manulife Vitality, and Group Retirement.
An Advisor Manulife ID is specifically for actively contracted advisors, Marketing Assistants and back-office staff to view and manage their business through the Wealth advisor site and Advisor Portal.
No. Each person in your organization must create their own Advisor Manulife ID, specific to their access needs. This ensures account security as roles change or individuals move to different organizations. Advisors are responsible for immediately updating access permissions in their profile. For help granting and removing access, review the “Setting up delegate access” PDF (log into the Wealth advisor site before accessing the link).
Note: Our system detects when another device attempts to log in using your credentials. You’ll receive a text message or email for verification before access is granted. Marketing Assistants must use a unique Advisor Manulife ID, with a separate username and email address.
To complete your setup, you must click the ‘Activate’ button in the automated email from Manulife. Be sure to click it within 15 minutes of receiving the email to activate your account successfully.

If you’re experiencing technical difficulties while creating your Advisor Manulife ID, contact our Distribution Technology Support Centre: email dtsc@manulife.ca, you can use our live chat option or call 800-667-4266.
If you don’t see a confirmation email after setting up your Advisor Manulife ID:
- Check your spam or junk folders
- The sender will be: donotreply@manulife.com
- Wait 15 minutes and try setting up your Advisor Manulife ID again
- If you still don’t see an email, contact our Distribution Technology Support Centre at dtsc@manulife.ca or call us at 800-667-4266.
The activation link is only valid for 15 minutes. If you click it after that time, you’ll see an error message: “Sorry, this link isn’t active anymore”.
It’s important to activate your Advisor Manulife ID right away. If not, you’ll need to restart the process.
This happens after multiple incorrect password attempts. To unlock your account, click ‘Forgot your password?’. A one-time passcode will be sent via text (if set up) or email.
- Check your junk and spam folders.
- Make sure you’re connected to the internet.
Tip: If you requested multiple passcodes, only the most recent one will work. Each code expires after 15 minutes.
After signing in (and before selecting your account), go to ‘Profile’, then click on ‘Manulife ID’. You’ll be able to update your email and mobile number, change your username or password and edit your personal information.
Just select ‘Forgot your username?’ or ‘Forgot your password?’ on the sign in page.

Your Advisor Manulife ID
Advisor Manulife ID is the only sign-in credential you’ll need to access the Wealth advisor site.
- Set up your Advisor Manulife ID and choose the ‘Wealth advisor site’ option from the ‘Sign In’ menu at the top right corner of the page to access the site without signing in again.
