Amirali focuses on the consistent application of investment processes and risk management practices, while also providing tools and analytics for portfolio construction across equity, fixed income, and asset allocation funds. His Investment Risk and Construction Solutions team collaborates closely with portfolio managers, offering comprehensive quantitative support for activities such as portfolio construction and factor analysis. Amirali joined the firm when Manulife acquired Standard Life’s Canadian operations in January 2015. He initially joined Standard Life Investments in 2011 as a quantitative risk analyst and previously served as a quantitative strategist at RDA Capital. Amirali holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
