Cliff Wiegers graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Commerce, now known as Edwards School of Business, with Honours in Finance in 1983. After a one-year position with the Toronto Dominion Bank, he left to join the financial planning industry as part of a large corporation. In 1991, he and his wife Debra established Wiegers Financial & Benefits.

Cliff helps his clients by custom-designing overall financial plans and estate plans to help them live their best life. He and the team at Wiegers Financial & Benefits help position his clients’ portfolios to meet their needs now and when they retire. Cliff also works extensively with business owners, including farming families, in their succession and estate planning.

In addition to his professional qualifications and designations, Cliff has been involved in business coaching since 1989. This program focuses on goal planning and getting more out of life. Cliff meets regularly with other professionals to continue to learn to work more effectively both personally and professionally. Cliff shares many of these concepts with his clients as a value-added service.

On a personal note, Cliff has been married to Deb since 1988 and together, they have four adult children. In his downtime, Cliff loves to travel internationally and spend time with family at his cabin at Turtle Lake, Saskatchewan.
