Driving action to help people live healthier, better and more financially secure lives

Manulife John Hancock Financial Resilience and Longevity Global Report

With people living longer and facing potentially decades in retirement, taking action during working years is more important than ever. Our annual global research underscores the importance of saving and investing as longevity demands a new approach to planning. With this critical insight, our report outlines tailored steps for each generation and highlights how retirement plan providers, sponsors, and advisors can support better financial outcomes across people’s lifespans.

Longevity Preparedness Index

In collaboration with the MIT AgeLab, we're proud to share the first-of-its-kind Longevity Preparedness Index (LPI) that measures the readiness of U.S. adults for living longer, taking an in-depth look across eight domains: social connection, finance, daily activities, care, home, community, health, and life transitions.

Manulife Asia Care Survey

Designed to explore how people across Asia are redefining longevity — prioritizing quality of life over simply living longer. This survey highlights the growing importance of health and financial independence, emphasizing well-being across physical, mental, social, and financial dimensions. It also identifies gaps between aspirations and actions, offering insights to help people lead more balanced, fulfilling lives.
