To support its transformation into a digital, customer-centric market leader, Manulife Philippines has made the move to a modern new office space located at the NEX Tower in Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
Manulife’s new office features an open layout, more collaborative workspaces including modern work-cafés in every floor, state-of the art training and meeting rooms, its own event area, and even plants in the workspace.
“The new office was designed to support our new ways of working. Its modern workspace combined with digital work tools enable us to work more collaboratively as a team. All of these empower us to create solutions which make decisions easier and lives better for our customers, distributors, and of course, our colleagues, ” said Richard Bates, President & CEO of Manulife Philippines.
Open Office
The new Manulife office has an open office design to encourage collaboration and enable better communication among employees. Even the workplaces of the management team are open and welcoming for easy consultation. Plants are added to accentuate workspaces while at the same time provide better air quality to help reduce stress.
Collaboration Areas
Aside from individual desks, there are also various collaboration capsules in each department where employees can gather for quick huddles or brainstorming sessions.
Work Cafes
The office has work-cafés where employees can have casual meetings, breaks, or enjoy meals. Employees are encouraged to bring their own cups. Coffee and other drinks are already supplied.
Meeting Rooms
Rooms of varying meeting sizes are situated on all floors. Every floor has quiet rooms for employees who need to work alone and be extra focused on accomplishing tasks.
Large Work Café
There is also a dedicated large work-cafés for formal internal or external gatherings. The space has already hosted some of Manulife’s notable events such as Fintech Association of the Philippines’ Fintech Mixer, Manulife’s Peso Smart graduation, and various internal activities.
