COVID – 2019 is not one of the Critical Illness conditions covered. However, if COVID – 2019 leads to one of the covered Critical Illnesses being fulfilled, benefit will be paid. If the Critical Illness Plan/Rider has Death Benefit, death due to COVID – 2019 is covered. |

However, if COVID – 2019 leads to insured child being admitted into Intensive Care Units/ High Dependency Units, and the criteria is being fulfilled, Child Hospital Care benefit will be paid. |
