Add a beneficiary for a trust nomination
A trust nomination allows you to nominate your spouse and/or children as beneficiaries of your policy. Once a trust nomination is made, the policy benefits will belong to the nominated beneficiaries.
Before you begin
Please ensure that:
- You are the policy owner and the sole life insured under the policy.
- There are currently no existing beneficiaries under a trust nomination for your policy. If there are existing beneficiaries, you will need to remove all beneficiaries before submitting a new trust nomination.
- You wish to nominate your spouse and/or children as beneficiaries.
- You understand the implications of making a trust nomination.
Important: Once a trust nomination is made, you will no longer have full rights over the policy and the consent of all beneficiaries may be required for certain policy transactions.
