Manulife Investment Management Strengthens Multi‑Asset Platform with Marc Franklin Promoted to Head of Multi-asset Solutions in Asia

Singapore –  Manulife Investment Management today announced that Marc Franklin has been promoted to Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, Asia. This appointment reflects the firm’s continued commitment to strengthening its multi‑asset investment capabilities across Asia, as demand for outcome‑oriented and diversified investment solutions continues to grow across client segments in the region.

Manulife Investment Management’s Multi‑Asset Solutions platform is supported by one of the largest teams in the region, with dedicated solutions professionals across Asia and a global franchise of more than 55 investment professionals, enabling the firm to combine deep regional insight with global expertise in delivering client‑focused solutions.

Based in Singapore, Marc will lead the next phase of growth of the firm’s Multi-Asset Solutions platform across Asia, overseeing the development and delivery of strategic, tactical and  outcome‑oriented, multi‑asset investment solutions for clients across retail, retirement and institutional channels. He will continue to report to Luke Browne, Global Head of Multi-asset Solutions, and work closely with investment and distribution teams across the region.

Marc joined Manulife Investment Management in 2021 as Senior Portfolio Manager, Asset Allocation, bringing more than 20 years of multi‑asset investment experience. Since joining the firm, he has played a key role in strengthening its multi‑asset capabilities in Asia, working closely with clients and internal teams to deepen client engagement, support the growth of solutions‑driven strategies, and contribute to the continued evolution of the regional multi‑asset platform.

Marc brings more than 20 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Manulife Investment Management, he served as Head of Flexible Multi‑Asset at NN Investment Partners in the Netherlands, where he oversaw global multi‑asset funds and mandates across absolute return, total return and benchmark‑relative strategies. Earlier in his career, he held senior investment roles at Conning Asia Pacific, JPMorgan Asset Management, Henderson Global Investors and Nevsky Capital.
