Kiran had always prioritized fitness, but was getting bored of her routine. She wasn’t sticking to the goals she set and needed a new way to challenge herself. Then, she discovered Manulife Vitality.
“One word to describe myself before the Vitality program would be ‘excuses’,” Kiran says. “Like most people, I start off with setting new year's resolutions and halfway throughout that year I would realize that I had nothing to keep me accountable to those goals.”

Every week I have to check-in in order for it to count, and I get points for that. It's just motivating because now I'm getting closer to my goals.”

It offers a variety of ways for people to learn about and improve their health, from choosing simple activities like eating well and exercising to completing health assessments. The more engaged someone is and the healthier their choices, the more points they can earn towards rewards.
For Kiran, Vitality provides that additional layer of motivation and accountability, so she’s no longer reliant on her new year’s resolutions. “It is so rewarding to see yourself achieve the goals that you set in the beginning of the year,” she says. “That, to me, is priceless.”
